Meet Veronica!
Hi, I’m Veronica—founder and lead designer of Veronica Isabel Design. I believe that great design is about more than just making things look good—it’s about creating spaces that feel personal, purposeful, and deeply connected to the people who live in them.
My passion for design really took off over eight years ago, when I bought my home in Fallbrook and decided to transform the backyard into my dream wedding venue. With 90 guests on the way and a construction zone in front of me, I dove in headfirst—taking on the project as an owner-builder, selecting every material and plant, designing the pool, and managing a team of subcontractors from start to finish. It was wild, rewarding, and absolutely transformative.
I couldn’t have done it without my husband, Dave—an incredibly talented mechanical engineer and my behind-the-scenes partner in creativity. He brings so much insight to the technical side of things and still finds time (between running his own company!) to jump in on special VID projects when needed.
After that, I renovated an old tire shop and turned it into a restaurant—falling so in love with the design process that actually running the restaurant felt like a side note. That’s when I knew design was my true calling. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to crafting spaces that reflect the people who live and work in them—spaces that feel as good as they look.
While interior design is our primary focus, my love of hosting has also led me to design and produce many special events over the years. We now occasionally take on a few bespoke, design-forward events for clients who want a beautifully curated experience. Whether it’s a home, a restaurant, or a one-of-a-kind gathering, I bring the same creativity, care, and attention to detail to everything I design.
My approach is collaborative, holistic, and hands-on. I care deeply about the details, the flow, and the feeling behind a space—and I’m here to help bring your vision to life in a way that’s both seamless and soulful.
